Well The Oche celebrated it's 1st Brithday this month, yes believe it or not we have been open one year as of 1st November, my how time fliers when you are having fun.
In that time we have had 289 entries into our competitions and paid out a staggering £9,470.00 in prize money, which is not bad for our first year.We could not have done this without the support of you dart players, so keep up the good work. With your help and support The Oche will be able to continue and grow into a first class darting venue
Now on to Sunday's competition, what can I say but another great day with some past players and some new players and some great darts
The Quarter-Finalists were Mark (Mile High) Hylton from Rugeley, Chris Lacey from Chesterfield, Mark (who asked to be called Awesome) Horspool from Spalding, all who have played in our competitions before and new to The Oche Michael Dawson from scunthorpe
The Semi-Finalists were Ricky Sudale from Woodville a past winner and another newcomer to The Oche David Plallett from Shropshire
The Runner-Up was Dean (Over The Top) Winstanley from Rotherham a newcomer to The Oche, who sent me an email thanking us for a great day and saying he has put our website address on his face book account, I keep hearing about this face book, I am going to have to get my kids to explain this and how it works
The Winner was Chris Cooper from Worksop a past winner. The final was quite a spectacle, both players played some great darts.
We had many requests to hold another competition before Christmas, so the next competition will be SUNDAY 14th December, so come on all you dart players make this one the biggest turnout ever
